Free Post

Hello everyone!
Today i want to talk about Montessori education. I want to talk about this, because i love this teaching method. I  Love it, because i think it is one of the best forms to integrate different children in the same classroom. All students are different, and has different abilities that some time are not exploited in traditional education.
This method is an aprroach in integral human development, it considers activities children do, and the teacher teaches them after they do something.
This method searches to explote different profiles of students, and it doesn't promote competitivity.
Also, the most important for learning in these schools, is learning for your life, so you can do anything, for examples, the children learn to do bread, clean, be organized, listen to the other person, and other things.
When i was in a Montessori school, Aliwen (Valdivia) i learnt to do compost, cooking, and something for my life, apart from learning traditional education.

I think, this is wonderful but is not accessible for all people beucase is not free. But, i think,  public education has to consider another method for teaching.

So you want learn more that montessori education you cand visit the facebook page of my school:

A Job

Hi classmates!
Today I want to talk about a job that I would like to do. This job is: forest ranger. I like this job because I think that it would be wonderful to go to work in the mountains alone. For example, I knew a forest ranger who lived and worked in National park (Nahuelbuta) and he was so happy. Also, I knew a young group of students that lived in the Austral Zone of Chile and they enjoyed their job.
I think that the principal qualities that you need to do this job well is to love the environment and natural landscape. So, maybe, also, you need to know things about the place where you work, because I think, these things you can learn easily.
I think I would be good at this job, because, I love the natural places, I know about geography, and I love to be alone. I think that for the last point I need a big bottle with cannabis to be inspired.

In this job you have so much free time, and you can read, and think with a beautiful landscape.

Piece of art

Hi everyone!
Today I will talk about a pieces of art. So, I’m not a fan of art, but I have seen some pieces of art that surprise me. For example, when I went to Bolivia 3 years ago, I visited a native museum (Sucre) and in this, there was a woman who was knitting in a room all day. Tourists pay to see a native woman knitting and pieces made by her and other women.  I thinks it’s unusual or from other time.
The kiss, of gustav klim, is a piece of art that I love. I think this is so harmonious. I saw it and knew it in the school.

Another big Chilean artist, maybe the biggest Chilean artist is Violeta Parra. She was a very complete artist. She was a musician and visual artist. She was a woman that made me feel proud. Her talent, humility and ideals. I can see violeta’s pieces of art in “La Moneda” museum.  There are  so beautiful.

Website i like

Hi everyone!
Today i’d like to write about a website that i like.  I guess NETFLIX is my favorite website. I like it because I can see many different movies and series. Comics, terror, classic and others. My favorites are Sherlock Holmes, The Americans, Bojack and Rick and Morty. I visit it frequently, but there are days where I am seeing movies/series all day and I don’t do anything else. Also, there are days when I don’t visit this page because really I can’t spend time in this.
I found this page because it is the most popular website to see movies without inconvenience. The saddest when you use Netflix it is when you want see any season but you don’t find it in this page. Then, you need to found out in other web side, and this is dangerous and complicated. Sometime I abort mission because it’s tires me out.

My presentation

Hi Classmates!
Today I will talk about my presentation. I spoke about landscapes of Chile.  I choose this topic because I think this is very interesting because Chile it’s a very long country, and this means very different landscapes around the country.
I know some landscapes because I had been able to travel around then. For this presentation I split country in five landscapes: Big North, Small North, Central Zone, South and Austral South. These are the climate zones of Chile.
I included in this presentation general information about every landscapes, and principally many images because I think this is a best mode to explain my topic.

I enjoyed this experience because I like so much this topic and geography in general but I didn’t have so much time to prepare, because I worked that weekend and I was so exhausted. I would like to do better in next opportunity.

One on One

Hi!

Today, I want to talk about Diego Rivera. He is a Mexican muralist.  I’ve chosen this artist because I admire him so much. The muralist movement was born in Mexico after the Mexican Revolution and its objective was to communicate revolutionary ideas for popular masses. In this context, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros y José Clemente Orozco were the most important exponents. I first heard of Rivera when I was in school. My art teacher made me study him it because she knew I loved muralism.

Between 1930 and 1934 Diego lived in USA. In this time, he was hired by the Rockefeller Center of New York for to paint a big mural in this place. This mural was called “man at the crossroads” and in it, Rivera painted Lenin, Marx and Trotsky faces’, as proletarian faces. I like so much his role in the revolutionary process as an artist.

I’d also like to talk to him about this moment and what he was thinking (!) and how was Rockefeller’s face when he saw this. I’d also ask about his relationship with Frida Kahlo, because she’s another important artist and feminist Mexican woman. They had a difficult love, and I want know details about this (jaja).

A photograph

This photograph was taken in Valdivia, in Campus Miraflores of Austral University (UACh). This is a wetland in winter. I took this picture, 5 years ago, when I prepared a photography exposition with my Aliwen’s classmate. It’s very important for me, because, in this there are many emotions. The exposition we mounted was named “El Árbol de la Memoria”, and in this we showed pictures about small and significant places of Valdivia. We’d done this with much love. We showed this for the school community and the general public in Phillipi´s Museum (in Arts School UACh).
In the photograph you can see a cool landscape, but when you stay in there, you can feel great, seeing a beautiful natural composition. At first, it cost me to adapt to this, because it was really rainy and cool, but with time I can see the real importance of this place. This is also important because we take care of the landscape.

This picture represents a side of Valdivia that I allways take with me.

Something I would like to learn

Hi classmates!
So, there are two thing that I would like to learn this year. First, I would like to learn speak English because I want so much to travel and it’s a great tool. I’d go to live to other country in some years. For practice I see some anime, series and movies in netflix, because I train listening and pronunciation. Some examples that I love: Rick and morty, bojack horseman, Sherlock holmes, wild south America and others.
Second, I’d like to learn some martial art. Now, I don’t know which, because I don’t know many about this. Anyway, I think this is a perfect combination in sport and meditation (like a yoga, but so much hard). I’d learn this, but I’d be capable to protect myself on the street (eventuality machist violence). I like sport, so I think it’s not difficult for me, but it’s a discipline challenge for me.
